Organizations Committed in Unity to Serve (FOCUS) Youth
is a faith-based community partnership of North Lawndale churches
and youth organizations that increase layers of support for
youth by promoting educational, social, and leadership opportunities.

The
purpose of the FOCUS Youth Collaborative is to coordinate
resources within organizations that serve youth in North Lawndale
through a common, faith-based framework. The Collaborative seeks
to build upon current community assets, while helping individual
programs succeed in more effective service to North Lawndale's

1999, several faith-based youth organizations began working
